Purists might say that street photograpy doesn't exist if there are not people in the frame.

Well, I disagree. 

This ongoing project was born as an experiment: what if you take your usual "street" locations, but shoot them as they appear without any trace of life? And what if you immerse them in a timeless atmosphere,

with sharplights and high contrasts 

These photos are the result of me trying to find an answer to those questions.
